Domus Pacis Family Respite
Domus Pacis (Latin for "house of peace") encourages cancer patients, their families and friends to escape to the beauty of the mountains and experience the peace that comes from creating joyful memories for the people they most cherish.
Founded in 2008, the respite program relies on the use of donated resort homes, as well as the giving nature of an army of volunteers. Since inception, Domus Pacis has coordinated over 1,400 family respites, and continues to make a difference in the lives of numerous families every year.
The impact on the families we serve and the power of community is told poignantly in our video.
