Pete Stein has served as a Board member of Domus Pacis Family Respite since October 2020.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Babson College and an MBA in Finance and International Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University. Pete formed Trinity Hunt Partners in 2004, a Dallas based private equity firm, with approximately $1.0 billion in assets under management. As a Founder and Managing Partner, Pete is responsible for capital formation, deal origination, portfolio company monitoring, and the overall management, strategy and operations of the firm. He is currently Chairman of the Board of IMS Expert Services, Juris Medicus, Veracity Research Company, Forensic Engineering Services, as well as a board member of Family Help & Wellness.
Pete previously served as Assistant Vice President in the Dallas Corporate Finance branch of Banc One Capital Corporation and at key positions in both the Dallas and New York offices of Prudential-Bache, and after owning and operating a franchise business. Having completed approximately 35 successful investments in numerous industries, Pete has extensive experience in management, private equity, finance and investments.
Pete and his wife Pauline started their relationship with DPFR as a house donor almost a decade ago. As Pete slows down his business career, his goal is to increase his philanthropic and ministries involvement. Pete brings a wealth of experience in finance and fundraising as well as organization management, having sat on over 30 corporate boards.
Pete currently serves as Board Member and Treasurer of the Erin Tierney Kramp Foundation and has managed and directed its primary fund raiser for the last 20 years. Prior to relocating to the Breckenridge area, he has also previously served on the HVP Endowment Fund as Investment Funds Director and as a Team Leader for the 2015 Dallas Catholic Charities Campaign ($125 million). He has also extensive experience with other ministries, including the Engaged Couple Marriage Ministry, Religious Education, Aids Crisis Center, Ministry to the sick, Adoration Chapel, Eucharistic Ministry, Lector Ministry, Mass Greeter Program, among others.
Pete loves to fly fish, hike, ski and talk long walks with his wife Pauline (and their dog Misha). He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Breckenridge and participates in several ministries. Pete has been married for 30 years and is blessed to be the father of three children, all young adults now.
