Nic White-Petteruti has served as Board member of Domus Pacis Family Respite since March 2016.
He has degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he focused on marketing, strategy, and quantitative analysis. Nic has over a dozen years of experience in various consulting roles. After seven years of shepherding projects at Sargent & Lundy, LLC, a leading power plant design and engineering consulting company, Nic pivoted into the world of strategic consulting. From 2015 to 2018, Nic was an Associate at Houlihan Lokey in their strategic consulting arm. Since then, Nic has been a manager with Axiom Counsulting Partners, where he supports clients from a variety of industries with strategy development, data driven decision making and organizational design.
Nic has observed the restorative power of a respite stay on families: first, with his grandmother’s initial respite - which provided the seed for DPFR, followed by countless other firsthand accounts. After years of providing pro bono “tech support”, advice and a detailed market research report (conducted as part of his graduate course work), Nic is now pleased to serve DPFR as a Board member.
Nic and his wife, Courtney recently welcomed their daughter Lily to the world, much to the delight of her older brother Jacob. In his free time, he loves to cook (with homemade pasta as a particular favorite) and stay active in a variety of ways; not limited to basketball, biking, beach volleyball, snowboarding and hiking.
